The trade-off: plan ahead. The no-KYC route takes longer, including a 7-day hold during the first 6 months after your first purchase. Bank processing adds to this.

- No SEPA transfer fee from Mt Pelerin. No conversion fee on your first CHF 500 equivalent of annual purchases, then a volume-based commission. No provider delivery fee on Tempo; the final transfer from your wallet has network fees.
- No identity verification within certain limits. Up to CHF 999 equivalent over a rolling 30-day period; additional checks may still be required.
- Allow several days. Without KYC, purchases during the first 6 months after your first purchase are held for 7 days, in addition to bank processing. This automatic hold no longer applies afterwards. Completing KYC removes it sooner; bank processing and any additional checks still apply.
